The project involves the implementation of a new Odoo ERP system for Juma Al Majid (JAM) Digital Solutions, Juma Al Majid Office Equipment, and Juma Al Majid Watches. The project focuses on integrating key modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Service Contracts, Projects and POS, while adhering to industry best practices and leveraging Odoo's out-of-the-box features. The implementation will be carried out in two phases, with the first phase covering high-level requirements and the second phase addressing additional modules and functionalities.
Project Scope:
The scope of the project includes the following key areas:
Masters Maintenance:
- Product Master: Creation, approval, and management of products (storable, consumable, and service) with options for sales, purchase, expense, and rental.
- Partner Master: Creation and approval of vendor and customer profiles, including credit limits, payment terms, and tax details.
Procure-to-Pay Process:
- Procurement initiation, purchase requisition, stock replenishment, purchase order creation, GRN (Goods Receipt Note) generation, vendor bill creation, and payment processing.
- Management of landed costs, petty cash, and prepaid expenses.
Order-to-Cash Process:
- Opportunity creation, quotation generation, sales order confirmation, delivery note generation, invoicing, and customer payment collection.
- Management of returns, warranties, and POS (Point of Sale) operations.
Service and Lease Contracts:
- Creation and management of service contracts (AMC, FSMA, etc.), maintenance requests, and lease contracts.
- Automatic invoice generation, asset management, and tracking of service-related costs and revenues.
Accounting:
- Chart of Accounts (COA) setup, journal management, multi-currency support, tax management, and payment terms.
- Vendor bills, invoicing, PDC (Post-Dated Checks) management, and analytic accounting.
- Budgeting, asset management, and financial year closing.
Reports:
- Real-time reporting for inventory, sales, purchases, accounts, and service contracts.
